These sessions provide the following:

  • The legislative framework for bushfire protection explained
  • How to assess the classification of vegetation and slope
  • How to calculate the Bushfire Attack Level (BAL), including working through an example
  • Applying Planning for Bushfire Protection in the planning stage and post construction
  • Work through an example of applying the legislative requirements to a building
