We offer training sessions to enhance your appreciation of current legislative requirements for building in bushfire prone areas. Our sessions are designed for Builders, Development Assessment Officers, Building Certifiers, Architects, Building Designers, Town Planners or Landscape Officers.

These sessions provide the following:

  • The legislative framework for bushfire protection explained
  • How to assess the classification of vegetation and slope
  • How to calculate the Bushfire Attack Level (BAL), including working through an example
  • Applying Planning for Bushfire Protection in the planning stage and post construction
  • Work through an example of applying the legislative requirements to a building
